Our ambassador Lauren Steadman takes to the dance floor to dazzle us with her moves on Strictly Come Dancing 2018.
Lauren Steadman, elite para-triathlete and Paralympic Silver Medallist has been an ambassador for the Triathlon Trust since 2013. Lauren is a true champion of the sport and epitomises what the Triathlon Trust is all about, regularly attending events and helping to inspire children of all abilities to explore sport and enjoy themselves.
'A personal highlight of supporting the Triathlon Trust is attending mini-tri events and watching the excitement and determination across every child's face as they complete their own triathlon! Shiny, bright red faces that always ask to do it again and again - there's nothing more satisfying.' Lauren Steadman
But this year Lauren has traded her training shoes for dancing shoes to take part in Strictly Come Dancing 2018. Now through to Week 8, Lauren has been improving week on week and her and partner AJ have been wowing audiences with their Jive, Waltz and Quickstep to name just a few.
In week 8, the stakes are even higher as Lauren dances not only to stay in the competition, but also for the opportunity to dance at one of the world's most iconic dance floors when Strictly hits the road and heads to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom the following week. The stakes may be high, but with the support of her fans and her World Champion mentality, we know she can do it.
Best of luck from all of us at the Triathlon Trust!
